Your Net Won’t Break – Capacity

I believe God wants someone to know He will grant them the capacity to handle the increase He is bringing.

In John 21, Jesus appeared to His disciples who had been fishing all night but caught nothing. Standing on the shore, He called out to them and told them to cast their net on the right side of the boat. Their obedience led to a catch so large they were unable to haul the fish into the boat.

Because of this amazing increase, they could only tow the net behind the boat to get to shore. Peter needed to physically pull the net the rest of the way.

One of the hidden nuggets in this story is verse 11, “Simon Peter climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.”

“…but even with so many, the net was not torn.”

They successfully harvested their catch using nothing but what they already had.

God increased their capacity supernaturally, just like He did with the Israelites in the desert when He made it so their shoes and clothes did not wear out – even after 40 years.

Whenever and whatever and however God provides, He will most certainly ensure we have what we need to accommodate it.
