Spring cleaning. Out with the old in with the new. And wow does Amazon make that an easy process!

Our front porch has been littered with packages of replacement items. In one week I received a new motorized sit/stand desk, adjustable office chair, kitchen tools, and so many other items I’m too embarrassed to list them out.

All this got me thinking about what else – the cross! (stay with me here…)

What Jesus did on the cross, by giving His perfect life for my sinful one, is like Amazon delivery day.

At the cross, the promises of God were signed with His Name, sealed with His blood, and delivered to me.

My only job now was to open the package of His promises and begin to put them to use.

The promises of God. Signed. Sealed. Delivered.
