Why do you Answer a Phone When it Rings?

A telephone has two ends – a speaker and a receiver 📞. When you answer the phone, both parties can’t start talking at the same time. You won’t be able to hear each other. One person speaks while the other listens. And vice versa.

A phone is for two-way communication. God is always ready to listen. We all seem to believe that. But He is also always ready to speak.

We just need to stop talking long enough to listen.

Behold! Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20
When we answer the door, He doesn’t just come in to eat with us. We eat with Him. Two-way interaction.

What say you? I'd really like to know!
