Hello readers. I know you come to this blog because of my deep spiritual insights (not that I would ever say that about myself, but it is widely known around the world that others say that about me).
I had yet another life-altering revelation this morning as I was reading the Word of God. You may need to sit down for this one, as the power of the truth behind what I saw might knock you off your feet.
Are you sitting down yet? Actually, I’m sure you already are ’cause it’s a little weird to read standing up.
Ready or not – here we go.
Do your kids give you a hard time about making their beds in the morning? If so, then (thanks to my astounding insight) you now have a verse for that. You can tell them even Jesus made His bed.
“Then Peter…went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus’ head. The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen.” ~ John 20: 6 – 7
Jesus had just been crucified (talk about a hard day!), descended into Hades, and still took the time to make His bed before He left the tomb to reveal Himself to His people.
Moms and Dads, you can thank me now. You’ve got this argument on lock-down.
