You are a Converser, not a Converter

God is pithy. He can transform one simple sentence into a powerhouse of truth that can change your life.

I woke up hearing Him speak this phrase to me, “Daughter, you are a Converser, not a Converter.”

I’m a Converser – one who has conversations – one who converses with another about the love of God.

God is the Converter.

This phrase has released me to know my job is to love the one in front of me, and to point them to Jesus. To simply be a Converser and let God be the Converter has lifted a weight I didn’t even know I was carrying.

“And they cried out in a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God, Who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.'” Revelation 7:10

  1. Good stuff, Meredith. May I pass it on to a Care Net class I am teaching on-line? Who knows how it will circulate after that!
